Files and Uploads
Which files you can upload in Paperless, how the upload field works, and how to add files after submitting a request.
Some requests ask you to upload documents — for example, a certificate of enrollment or a signed statement. Here is how file uploads work in Paperless.
Which Files Are Allowed
If a file is not a PDF or is too large for the request, it will not be attached and the upload field will show an error message.
Uploading a File in the Request
- In the upload field, you will see Drop PDF file here or click.
- Either drag and drop your file into the field or click on it and select the file in the file dialog.
- While the file is being transferred, you will see Uploading — once it is finished, the file is listed in the field and marked as Uploaded.
- If you want to remove the file again before submitting, click Tap to delete.
Adding Files After Submission
After you have submitted a request, the page of your request shows the button Attach additional files. If the request allows it, you can upload further files there at any time — you do not need to submit a new request. The staff in charge can see the files in the history of the request.
