Files and Uploads

Which files you can upload in Paperless, how the upload field works, and how to add files after submitting a request.

Some requests ask you to upload documents — for example, a certificate of enrollment or a signed statement. Here is how file uploads work in Paperless.

Which Files Are Allowed

If a file is not a PDF or is too large for the request, it will not be attached and the upload field will show an error message.

Uploading a File in the Request

  1. In the upload field, you will see Drop PDF file here or click.
  2. Either drag and drop your file into the field or click on it and select the file in the file dialog.
  3. While the file is being transferred, you will see Uploading — once it is finished, the file is listed in the field and marked as Uploaded.
  4. If you want to remove the file again before submitting, click Tap to delete.

Adding Files After Submission

After you have submitted a request, the page of your request shows the button Attach additional files. If the request allows it, you can upload further files there at any time — you do not need to submit a new request. The staff in charge can see the files in the history of the request.
